OLD STYLE and NEW STYLE:
The following statement is from Wikipedia. If the Quaker record keepers adhered rigorously to the New Style Act, then the first 4 of the above dates are Old Style and the last 4 are New Style.
"In the Kingdom of Great Britain and its possessions, the Calendar (New Style) Act 1750 introduced two concurrent changes to the calendar. The first, which applied to England, Wales, Ireland and the British colonies, changed the start of the year from 25 March to 1 January with effect from 'the day after 31 December 1751'"

A Testimony from Sadsbury Mo'ly Meeting Concerning our Friend William Downing, who departed this Life the 18th of the 3rd mo. 1788 in the Sixty Sixth year of his age.
He was a useful member in Society, having filled the station of an Elder many years to Satisfaction,
Being of a Sympathizing & Charitable dispostion was generally well belov'd, he was diligent & examplary in attending our Religious Meetings (altho living at a Considerable Distance) And in the time of his last Bodily weakness he was favour'd to bear the Disorder with much patience & Resignation, being often tenderly affected, Expressing that he felt a foretaste of the Enjoyment of future Happiness, the fear & Sting of Death being taken away, And we have no reason to doubt but that he is Mercifully Comitted into the fruition of that Peaceful Rest which he longed for ---- Sign'd on behalf & by direction of the afores'd Meeting held the 18th of the 6th mo. 1788.
