AGE:

The presence of Anna Collins (75, SC) in the household of Elizabeth Collins and her husband William Martin in 1850 suggests that Anna is Elizabeth's mother. Elizabeth was born 30 Sep 1823 so that if her mother had been 75 in 1850 she would have been 48 when Elizabeth was born. That is impossible or very unlikely. I will assume that she was really about 70 in 1850 so that she was 43 when Elizabeth was born.
