CHILDREN:
A new grave marker mentions 3 children: Reuben Washington, Betsy, and Eliza. See Find-a-Grave.
BIRTH YEAR:
His original tombstone says he was born in 1792. That is not possible if his father was born in 1781, as is indicated on a memorial marker where he is buried. The 1850 census indicates that Lazarus was born about 1801.
General Notes: Wife - Edna Fachie
BIRTH YEAR:
Her tombstone says clearly that she was born in 1778. That year is improbable based on the birth year of her husband and impossible based on the birth years of two of her children. The 1870 census says she was born in 1798. The numbers on the tombstone was much smaller than the letters. The spacing is strange.
