John T. Goff married Nancy Barnes in Pulaski Co., Kentucky December 14,1840, and some researchers think that Lewis Ping's second wife was his widow. However the census suggests that John T. Goff remained alive. The maiden name of Lewis Ping's second wife is probably Goff.
