One of the legatees in the will of Janes's father, William Grinstead, is his grandson William Bailess. Neither Jane nor her sister Susana are mentioned in the will. It is reasonable to assume that both were dead by the time that the will was written (16 Sep 1763) and that one or the other married a man with surname Bailess, who was also dead when the will was written.
