WHO WAS HIS FATHER?

On page S-34 of the Supplement to The William Grinstead Family in America Edward Grinstead is a son of David. "He was a farmer; moved from Warren County KY to Scott County MO in 1830." Andrew J. Grinstead is a son of Edward. WGFA incorrectly states that William Warren Grinstead was also a son of David and thus a brother of Edward.

Based on available slots in the census, David is the more probable father. Edward's brother Bartholomew had a son named Edward.

AGE:

The 1830 census indicates that Edward was born between 1790 and 1800. He is probably the male 16-26 in David Grinstead's household in 1820. Thus he was born between 1794 and 1800.
