There is a Samuel McCauley (111101--111001) in Albemarle Co., Virginia in 1830 and a Samuel McCauly (0102001001--012001) in Jennings Co., Indiana in 1840. They may be the Samuel McCauley cited in WGFA. I cannot find anyone in the family in 1850.

According to database 'williamgrinstead' in WorldConnect Sarah Ann was born in Henrico Co., Virginia 19 Jul 1795, died 17 Jan 1857 in Butlerville, Indiana, and is buried in an abandoned cemetery near Butlerville. The children are:
