Nancy and her sister Mazey are mentioned in their father's 1825 will but not in their mother's 1829 will, but census data indicates that they were alive in 1829 (and much later).

The Southern Christian Advocate, 21 Feb 1851: "Died on the 12th Jan., near Hamilton, Harris co., Ga., Mrs. Nancy Hightower, wife of Daniel Hightower, Esq., and daughter of the late William Reece. Born in Hancock co., May 3, 1801. Married to Judge Hightower on June 26, 1826. Left husband and children."
