Hello I am related to Salina, not Selina. Yes, she did marry James Shelton Hinds in Polk Territory, Ore. Their marriage license does have James' last name as Haines. Which was a mistake by the clerk. Salina was born 1837 in Andrew Co., Mo and died near Turner, Marion Co., Ore at her daughther's home on 8/5/1909. We have the obituary from the paper and in the paper the last name is spelled Hines. Both her and James are buried under the last name of Hinds, the original way our last name was spelled and are in the Orleans Cem. in Linn Co., Ore.
