General Notes: Wife - Nancy Ann Akin
Arthur Akin in his will names 4 daughters, including Nancy. In a lawsuit involving the slaves that Arthur lent his wife during her widowhood and that afterwards were to be divided among his children, one of the plaintiffs is identified as Nancy, wife of Wilkins Hall, in one document, Ann, wife of Wilkins Hall, in another document, and Nancy, wife of Watkins Hall, in a third document. She is identified as Ann P. Akin in the marriage record. She is Ann in the 1850 census and Ann P. in the 1860 census. Obviously Nancy and Ann are the same person.
