In 1870 Mary L. Hines (9, Ky) and her brother William H. Hines (7, Ky) are living in Pulaski Co, Kentucky with their mother and her second husband William Edwards.

MARRIAGE:

There is another Mary Hines (possibly Mary L.) born about the same time to William Washington Hines of the other Hinds/Hines family in Pulaski Co. I have chosen this Mary L. Hinds (daughter of James Hinds) as the wife of William S. Jones because the surety in the wedding is George W. Hinds, a first cousin of the orphan Mary L. The other Mary (L.) Hines does not have a relative named George W.
