According to a lawsuit filed around 1850 Pleasant Akin died unmarried and intestate. He is mentioned in his father's will in 1809. See notes under his father. Since his name was Pleasant, it seems likely that his mother was Elizabeth Pleasant. She probably died in childbirth.
