No one with surname Hinkle is in the 1810 census in Wayne Co., Kentucky. George Hinkle is in the Wayne Co. tax list from 1804 to 1809. He is a white male over 21; he owns no land; and he usually has one horse.

It seems likely that George Hinkle is the father of Mary and Charity and that he died in about 1809.
