Ben and Squire are brothers. Their mother Mary Hinds lives at 275/275, and their brother H. R. Hinds lives at 277/277. Mary E. Aldridge is their niece. There is another set of census entries for the same 3 households at 349/349, 350/350, and 351/351. They are not identical. Julia is presumably Squire's daughter.

In 1870 Squire Hinds (40, F Laborer, ---/$100, Ky) is living in Grayson Co., Kentucky in the household of Sarah Quick.

FIRST MARRIAGE AND CHILD:

On November 21, 1855 Squire Hinds and his wife Catharine Mattingly, whose residence was N. F. Rough, had a daughter. See Breckinridge County Births (Kentucky Vital Records, Series 2, Volume 14; Frances T. Ingmire, 1983), page 31. The child was born alive and is unnamed. The original handwritten record ("Kentucky, U.S., Birth Records, 1847-1911" at ancestry.com) says that the birth date was "1855 November 26th" and that the place was "North Fork of Rough".
