WAXAHACHIE DAILY LIGHT, 24 Sep 1909, pg 3:

Cotton From Dallas County

Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hinkle of Cedar Hill, Dallas county, were in the city Friday. Mr. Hinkle brought cotton to Waxahachie and sold it for $4.80 in the seed. He says he was offered only $4.40 in his home market, but hearing of the high price paid here he decided that it would be money in his pocket to bring it to Waxahachie.

DEATH:

According to the death records of Ellis County, which I saw in Waxahachie in April 2005, Will C. Hinkle, 56, a resident of Waxahachie, died in Waxahachie March 19, 1915 of heart failure (page 122). Information from W. K. Rudolph, physician.
