The following is from "Descendants of Dennis Mero of Falmouth, Maine, Dorchester, Mass., and Norwich, Conn." (David T. Robinson, New England Historical Genealogical Register, Vol. 149, pgs 155-72). See article for more information. His daughter Sarah Parker is mentioned in his will.

RICHARD2 MERO (Dennisl) was baptized at Dorchester, Massachsuetts, 31 January 1697, and he died probably at Coventry, Connecticut, between 29 March 1756 when he made his will, and 22 April 1762, when it was proved. He married DELIVERANCE ______, who may be the "Widow Maraugh" whose death in July 1781 is recorded in Coventry First Church Records.
