The following is on page 157 in Benjamin Hitt and Nancy Curnal, their Antecedents and Descendants by Beatrice Myers and Vada Phillips. The statement about her marriage is not correct. I don't know whether the birth and death dates are correct or not. If they are, she died a month after she was married.
SARAH ANN E. HITT (2-4-1823 9-13-1842). Sarah Ann was born in Laurens District, South Carolina. She died in Sumter County, Alabama, at age 19. She was not married and is probably buried at the Siloam Church Cemetery.
