There is a Jesse Simms in the Slave Schedule as the owner of 17 slaves. He may or may not be this Jesse Sims.

DEATH:

There is a reference to Jesse Sims and his wife Mary in the minutes of the Orphans' Court (8/149) in April 1854. By June 1859 H. J. Sims is the guardian of the two minor heirs of Mary Sims (10/5). Jesse and his wife must have died between 1854 and 1859.
