LAND:

On April 22, 1799 Thomas Logwood of Bedford Co. sells to Stephen Hubbard of the same place for 5 shillings a tract of 125 acres, more or less, in Bedford Co. on a branch of the north fork of Otter River. (Bedford Co. Deed Records 11/35)

On December 1, 1817 Thomas Logwood of Bedford Co. sells to Stephen Hubbard for £100 a tract of 280 acres, more or less, in Bedford Co. on the north fork of Otter River. (15/313)

On January 16, 1819 Stephen Hubbard and Zachariah Wheat of Bedford Co. sell to Burwell Logwood of the same place for $200 a tract of 60 acres, more or less, in Bedford Co. on the west prong of Otter River. It begins at Burwell Logwood's corner and runs along Wilkerson's line. (16/117)

The grantee index to deeds in Bedford Co. indicates that in addition to the above transactions he purchased 30 acres in 1801. The grantor index indicates that between 1819 and 1832 he made 7 sales. Once he sold 160 acres; the other sales were small -- in the range of 40 acres.
