LAND in CULPEPER CO.:

In the Culpeper Co. Land Tax Lists Reuben Jeffries owns 2 adjoining tracts of 144 and 200 acres from 1814 to 1828. They are about 20 miles north or northwest of the courthouse. From 1802 to 1813 (1805-1810 are missing) he owns one or the other of the 2 tracts but not both. In 1829 (the last year I have seen the lists) he owns one tract of 231 acres north of the courthouse.
