49. David Lockett was born in Goochland County, Virginia 1735. Inheritance: Monies from sale of unwilled land in Prince Edwards County and from real and personal property. David died 12 March 1796 in Warren County, Georgia.

He married Sallie Lucy Winfrey in Buckingham County, Virginia, 1759.(1)

David Lockett and Sallie Lucy Winfrey had the following children:

50 i. Solomon Lockett was born in Buckingham, Virginia 1760. Solomon died 1836 in Warren, Georgia. He married Martha [Patsy] Alvord in Buckingham, Virginia, 1790.
51 ii. Thomas Lockett was born in Buckingham, Virginia 1762. Thomas died 1844 in Warren, Georgia. He married twice. He married Betsy Sims in Warren, Georgia, 1794. He married Temperance Rogers in Warren, Georgia, 1810.

52 iv. David Lockett was born in Buckingham, Virginia 1766.
53 v. Reubin Lockett was born in Buckingham, Virginia 1768. He married Sarah Hill in Warren, Georgia, 27 June 1800.

55 vii. Sallie Lockett was born in Buckingham, Virginia 1770. She married John Patterson in Warren, Georgia, 1803.
56 viii. Doctor Lockett was born in Buckingham, Virginia 1772. He married Mary Hill in Warren, Georgia, 1803.
