After an illness since last Saturday morning, Mrs. Mary A. Martin, 75 years old, a resident of Columbus, Ga., died this morning, at 6 o'clock, at the residence of her son, Reese Martin, 403 Madison avenue.
Funeral services will be held over the body early tomorrow morning, and at 8 o'clock the remains will be shipped to Columbus, Ga., accompanied by Mr. Martin and family. Further services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, in Columbus. Interment will follow in the family burial grounds.
Mrs. Martin came to Montgomery about three months ago to visit her son, and her many close friends in this city will be grieved to learn of her sudden death.
The deceased is survived by three sisters, Mrs. I. L. Salter, Mrs. H. F. Moorefield and Mrs. J. W. McKerley, of Columbus, and one son, Reese Martin, of this city.
