CIVIL WAR:

In the 14th Ark. Infantry (Power's) as a private during Civil War. He was captured in Battle of Pea Ridge, Ark., on 8 Mar. 1862. Name was on roll of prisoners at Alton, Ill., in July 1862. Contracted T.B. in prison & released, according to family story. Cf. Cecil Trull.

In 1840 after the death of her father Susan Elizabeth is probably in the household of Hezekiah Appleby, a first cousin once removed.

DEATH:

She is buried in the Delba Cemetery in Fannin Co., Texas. Find-a-Grave says that she died in Fayetteville, Washington Co., Arkansas.
