Billy Hinkle Parker

Billy Hinkle Parker, 67, died Thursday at Queen of the Valley Hospital.
Mr. Parker was born and raised near Tucumcari, N.M. He came to California in the 1940s and first worked at the Desert Inn in Palm Springs as a supply manager. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II and came to Napa in 1959. He was employed with the Napa Electric Co. as a purchasing agent until his retirement in 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette of Napa; a son, David of Vacaville; and two daughters, Marylin Chambers of Sacramento and Billie Kirkendall of Woodland. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Mr. Parker's request, no services will be held. Inurnment will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions to charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements were under the direction of Richard Pierce Funeral Service.

MILITARY:

Billy Parker served in the Army during World War II. He enlisted 25 May 1942 and was released 27 Oct 1943.

Earlene Dalton, age 92, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at her home. She was born February 23, 1920, in Sunset, Texas to Earl and Odessa Waldrip Reid. She married Frank A. Dalton, February 15, 1958, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Earlene was a homemaker taking care of the home and her family. She was a very quiet and kind person and loved to read her bible. She took great pride being involved in her church and volunteering. She loved her family and being with her grandchildren and around their activities.

She is survived by her son, Frank (Lois) Dalton of Clovis, New Mexico; her brother, R. Glynn Reid of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Jacob Frasure of Clovis, New Mexico, Zane Dalton of Portales, New Mexico, and Shane Dalton of Clovis, New Mexico; nephews, Steve Reid of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Travis Reid of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey; and the family dog, Jezebel.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Tabernacle Church at 212 Ash in Clovis, New Mexico with Rev. Lawrence Thompson and Rev. Donald Bates. Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Garden in Clovis, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Zane Dalton, Shane Dalton, Jacob Frasure, Steve Reid, Travis Reid, and Craig Brashear.
