Descriptive list of men raised to reinforce the Continental Army for the term of 6 months, agreeable to resolve of June 5, 1780; age, 17 yrs.; stature, 5 ft. 7 in.; complexion, light; engaged for town of Belchertown; arrived at Springfield July 4,1780; marched to camp July 5, 1780, under command of Capt. Frothingham, of the artillery; also, men raised for the 6 months service and returned by Brig. Gen. Paterson as having passed muster in a return dated Camp Totoway, Oct. 25, 1780; also, pay roll for 6 months men detached from militia of the town of Belchertown for service in the Continental Army during 1780; marched from home July 4, 1780; discharged Oct. 26, 1780; service, 3 mos. 30 days, including 8 days (15O miles) travel home; also, certificate dated Belchertown, Oct. 5, 1781, signed by Elijah Parker, certifying that his son, said Elijah Parker, had been hired by Calvin Kinsley, on behalf of a class of the town of Belchertown, to serve in the Continental Army for the term of 3 years, and had received bounty; engaged April 6, 1781; also, descriptive list of men raised in Hampshire Co. to serve in the Continental Army, as returned by Noah Goodman, Superintendent; age, 18 (also given 19) yrs.; stature, 5 ft. 9 in.; complexion, light; hair, light; occupation, farmer; engaged for town of Belchertown; engaged April 6, 1781; term, 3 years; also, Private, Capt.
