On November 16, 1848 Samuel Walton and Elizabeth Walton, his wife, of St. Louis Co. sold to Pascal Piant of the same place for $1200 a tract of 90 arpents in the common fields of Village a Robert. (X4/314) This tract once belonged to Pascal's brother-in-law James Withinton (q.v.).
