MARRIAGE:

In 1920 and in 1930 Maggie Rhew was not in fact a widow. Her husband was still alive. According to family members, she lived with him only a very short time. He was the brother of her sister's husband.

SIBLINGS IN ANDERSON:

Uncle Ed (Marshall Eddy Parker) lived in Anderson for many years.

In 1983 Aunt Dimice (Dimice Parker Warren/Roudot) told me that Aunt Mag (Maggie Parker Rhew) lived with her husband for only a short time -- perhaps just a few months. She lived with a family in Anderson, perhaps the Kendalls, and then she and Aunt Lida (Eliza Parker Rhew) lived together. Aunt Mary (Mary Parker Brown) always lived alone. Aunt Mag worked in the post office. Aunt Lida didn't work so far as she knew.

Aunt Mary and Uncle Brown had lived together in Lubbock. Then Mr. Brown moved away, and they weren't living together. Aunt Mary moved to Anderson after Thomas died.
