He is not in the Slave Schedule. Harris Reese is in the sequence Joel Reese, Hugh Reese, 7x, Harris Reese. Elizabeth Reese (80) is presumably Harris's stepmother, the second wife of Hugh Reese, although her tombstone indicates that she died in 1848.

WHO IS HIS FATHER?
Harris Reese is not mentioned in the 1823 will of Hugh Reese although it appears that in 1850 Hugh's widow Elizabeth Reese (80) is living with Harris in Warren Co. The fact that Harris is not mentioned is not definitive evidence that he is not Hugh's son; two documented daughters of Hugh (Mahala and Mariah) are also not mentioned.
In the 1840 census Harris Reese is referred to as Harison Reese. There is another Harrison Reese in Warren Co. He is a son of Reuben Reese, who came to Warren Co. from Southampton Co., Virginia and is presumably not related to Hugh and Benjamin and their descendants. The similarity between 'Harris' and 'Harrison' suggests that maybe Harris is related to Reuben.
Reuben Reese appears to have lived in the watershed of Rocky Comfort Creek, which flows southward from Warren Co. into the Ogeechee River. Brier Creek flows southeastwardly from Warren Co. into the Savannah River. In the 1780s Hugh Reese received land grants in the watershed of Brier Creek. He also owned land in the northernmost part of what is now McDuffie Co. on creeks that flow northeastward into the Savannah River. We don't know for sure where he lived at various times. In the 1817 tax digest Hugh Reese lives in Capt. William's district on B. B. C. (Big Brier Creek), and Reuben Reese and Harris Reese live in Capt. Neal's district, Harris on B. B. C. and Reuben on Stamp Branch. Taken together the entries for Reuben Reese in the 1801 and 1805 personal property tax lists indicate that Stamp Branch is a tributary of Rocky Comfort Creek.
In 1820 Harris lives near Reuben. In 1830 and 1840 he lives near descendants of Hugh.
