BURIAL:

Joseph B. Reese (died 12/15/1861) is in the burial records of the Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia. Find-a-Grave Memorial # 9748770 says "Co. B, 20th Ga. Inf. -- CSA".

BIRTH PLACE:

In the 1850 census all of the children of Rev. James Reese are said to have been born in Jasper Co., Georgia. However, Rev. Reese lived in Pike Co. in 1830 and in Harris Co. in 1840. The younger children were probably not born in Jasper Co.
