BEDFORD CO., VIRGINIA PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX LIST:
William B. Reese is in the Bedford Co., Virginia personal property tax lists for the first time in 1825, and he is there until at least 1835 (the last year in which I have seen the list). He is absent in 1827, 1828, and 1830. Except for 1826 he lives in the Southern District, which is where his probable father David B. Reese lives. On 3 occasions David B. and William B. are contiguous in the tax list. William has 0, 1, 2, or 3 slaves at different times. He usually has 1 horse but sometimes none.
