The following, slightly reformatted to improve readability, is from Byberry Waltons (Norman Walton Swayne, 1958), pgs 195-96:
545 DANIEL WALTON (6), born Feb. 26, 1794, alive 1843, son of 193 Samuel Walton & Elizabeth Morris of Northern Liberties, Phila., married May 15, 1814 Susan Boswell, from St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Phila. His birth is from the Ms booklet mentioned under his father, in which in 1843 this is confirmed by the statement that Daniel will be 49 years old Feb. 26 next.
Pa. Archives say Daniel, 2nd brigade Northern Liberty guards, one dollar additional pay about 1814, on payroll Oct. 14, 1814, rec'd six dollars additional pay Oct. 20, 1814.
Phila. directories list Daniel 1816 and 1817 silversmith 331 N 3, 1818 and 1819 looking glass frame maker at same, also 1818 Walton & Stout looking glass frame makers Rose Alley ab Tammany, 1820 Daniel 176 Coates St., 1822 Walton & Coates looking glass frame makers at same, 1823 thru 1827 Daniel same at 128 Coates St., 1828 same at 6th & Green, 1829 thru 1833 grocer at same, 1835-6 grocer 33 N 4.
March 1, 1824 Daniel of Northern Liberties, Cabinetmaker, & wife Susanna deeded a lot on Delaware Fourth St. N of Maria St. rec'd by him Oct. 3, 1822 from his parents. Jan. 19, 1826, of Penn Twp, they deeded a lot on Coates St. rec'd by him 1819, when he was called looking glass frame maker. Jan. 18, 1830 when he was cabinetmaker of Spring Garden District in Penn Twp, they deeded for $4500 a lot and house on Coates (Delaware Sixth) St., rec'd by Daniel 31 March 1825. May 2, 1832 they deeded land in same rec'd by him 1828. May 2, 1832 when he was called Grocer they deeded for $3000 a brick house and lot on the N side of Coates St. and W side of John St. rec'd by him 20 Oct. 1829. In these last two deeds she signed Susan. March 11, 1833 Daniel as above deeded for $3000 a brick house and lot rec'd by him 4 Apr. 1831. Since there are no further directory listings nor other items found it looks as if Daniel died or moved.
No mention of children was found.
