Died, in Washington, Wilkes county, Ga., on the 19th of Decmeber, 1861, in the seventy-sixth year of her age, Mrs. EPSEY BOWDRE, wife of Thomas Bowdre, late of Columbia county, Ga.
Mrs. BOWDRE was married to her late husband in 1804. Brought up in times which immediately succeeded the American Revolution, she imbibed and retained till her death, those ideas of sincerity, frugality and piety, which marked the times above mentioned; . . .
