William A. Brown was my grandfather who died before I was born. He was married to Sarah Anna Crosley on May 6, 1894. Their son Malkum Kirk Brown is my father. Their oldest son, William Valentine Brown carved their grave markers. They had another son, Joseph Johnston Brown and two daughters, Etta Josephine and Stella Mae. William had also had a daughter, Beatrice, from his first marriage.

Sarah Anna Brown is my grandmother who died before I was born. She was born in Arkansas and died in Joshua, Texas. She was married to William A. Brown on May 6, 1894. My father, M.K. (Malkum Kirk) was her son. Her grave marker was carved by her oldest son, William Valentine Brown. She had another son, Joseph Johnston Brown and two daughters, Etta Josephine and Stella Mae Brown and a step-daughter Beatrice Brown. Sarah Anna's parents are Valentine Vanhuse and Jack (Jane) Anna Crosley who are buried in Valley Mills, Texas.
