In his will (13 Nov 1823) Hugh Rees mentions his daughter Dorcas Burkahalter. The following deed shows that her husband was Jeremiah Burkhalter.

9 Feb 1801; Jeremiah Birkhalter and Darcas, his wife, of Warren Co. to Hugh Reese of the same place; $650; 147 acres, more or less, on the waters of Golding Creek, being the land on which the said Birkhalter now lives (Warren Co., Georgia Deed Records B10, image 378/707) [Hugh sold this tract to his son-in-law Jacob Birkhalter 29 May 1801]

The 1830 census indicates that Dorcas was born between 1750 and 1760. Since her father was born in Decemnber 1742, she was probably born in the early 1760s -- maybe 1762.
