BIRTH PLACE:

In the 1850 census all of the children of Rev. James Reese are said to have been born in Jasper Co., Georgia. However, Rev. Reese lived in Pike Co. in 1830 and in Harris Co. in 1840. The younger children were probably not born in Jasper Co.

In 1860 Mary Cade (9) is living with her parents in Copiah Co., Mississippi. On 7 Jan 1867 Mary E. Cade married T. R. Fuller in Copiah Co. I cannot find her in the 1870 census. In the 1880 census taken June 7, she is a widow living in the town of Jasper in Jasper Co., Texas with 2 sons and 2 daughters with surname Fuller.

TEXAS DEATH CERTIFICATE 61588:

Grover C. Reese died 17 Sep 1971 in San Antonio, Texas. His death certificate says that he was born 16 Nov 1887 in Jasper Co., Texas, that his father was James M. Reese, and that his mother was Mary Ellen Cade.

TEXAS DEATH CERTIFICATE 31594:

Mary E. Reese, widowed, died July 11, 1932 in Orange, Orange Co., Texas at age 81 yrs 7 days.
