The baptismal record of her son Salomon says that his father is Baptiste Chapu; Aurore's burial record says that she was the wife of Salomon Chapu. Find-a-Grave Memorial # 88449131 says that the full name of her husband was Jean Baptiste Solomon Chapie Sr.

The record for Aurore's second marriage in 1840 misidentifies her as Thérèse. Aurore's younger sister Thérèse is too young to marry in 1840.
