HISTORY OF THE DESCENDANTS OF ELDER JOHN STRONG OF NORTHAMPTON, MASS. (Benjamin W. Dwight, 1871), Vol I, pg 20:

3-4. i. John Strong, Jr., b. in England in 1626, m. Nov. 26, 1656, Mary Clark bap. Sept. 30, 1638 (dau. of Joseph Clark of Windsor, Ct., and Frances Clark -- who m. March 22, 1639, for a second husband Thomas Dewey of Westfield, Mass. -- the progenitor of the many Dewey families of this country). She d. April 28, 1663, aged 25. He m. in 1664 for a second wife Elizabeth Warriner. He was a tanner at Windsor (as the author believes), where at any rate he resided and was a man of consquence. He d. Feb. 20, 1697-8: she d. June 7, 1684.

By first wife:
37-8. i. Mary Strong b. April 22, 1658, m. Nov. 22, 1676, Timothy Stanley of Farmington, Ct., and afterwards of Waterbury, Ct. She d. in 1722; and he Nov. 26, 1728, without issue.
39-40. ii. Hannah Strong b. Aug. 11, 1660, m. in 1693 as his second wife Stephen Hopkins (son of Stephen Hopkins of Hartford, Ct., and Dorcas Bronson). They had three children that d. unnamed soon after their respective births in 1695 and 1697. She d. Nov. 1745, aged 85.
By second wife:
41-2. iii. John Strong b. Dec. 25, 1665, d. May 29, 1749, aged 84.
43-4. iv. Jacob Strong b. April 8, 1673.
45. v. Josiah Strong b. Jan 11, 1678, d. April 5, 1759, aged 80, at Colchester, Ct.
46-7. vi. Elizabeth Strong b. about 1684, m. Thomas Burnham.
