Rites for Francis Marion Hines Held Sunday

Francis Marion Hines, born July 15, 1865 to Susan Hodge and John Hines at Argyle, died Feb. 13, 1954 at his home at Argyle.
Mr. Hines is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Walls and seven of their nine children, Mrs. Paul Watson of Somerset, George Hines of Judyville, Ind., Mrs. Virgil Elliott of Louisville, Preston Hines, Mrs. Berniece Garrett of Cincinnati, Mrs. Ruth McAninch and Ralph Hines of Cincinnati; 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Sunday at the Valley Oak Church where he held membership. Rev. Lee Davis Fisher and Rev. Reece officiated. The pallbearers were Louis Garrett, Ora Hines, Clovis Hines, Ned Hines, Harold Turnbaugh, and Arnold Watson.
