According to THE ROSTER OF UNION SOLDIERS 1861-1865 (Janet B. Hewett, 2000) Henry H. Hinds was a corporal in the 3rd Kentucky Inf. Co. K. THE ROLL OF HONOR (U. S. Quartermaster's Department, 1868) indicates that he died February 5, 1864 and is buried at Danville, Virginia.
