John H. Rees is the administrator. A sale of the personal property took place September 27 and 28, 1875. The number of items was large. See image 424 relative to W. H. Rees's guardianship of H. W. Rees.
On images 426 there is a list of 19 notes owed to W. H. Rees characterized as "Claims Good" in the amount of about $2500. Three are on Jordan Rees for a total of $330. Eleven notes in the amount of about $1100 are characterized as "Claims doubtful". They include two notes for $369.00 and $294.77 on James and Joel Rees. The estate contains stock in the Republic Life Ins. Company worth $200, stock in Lincoln Savings Bank worth $3500, 30 head of horses and mules, 14 head of cattle, and 70 head of hogs.
