On November 24, 1851 Augustus Reese is granted temporary letters of administration to collect and take care of the goods, chattels, and effects of Elizabeth A. Mann, dec'd. Augustus Reese and John T. Mann are bound in the sum of $14000.

On January 12, 1852 Augustus Reese, John T. Mann, and a third man are bound in the same amount. See page 84.
