Alice (Shaver) Collins passed away before William moved their family to Memphis, Hall County, Texas. He married a second time to Martha Sarah McDonald and their children were William Thomas (born September 2, 1917) and Velma.

William E. Collins Dies in Childress Thursday Night

Funeral services for William Enoch Collins of Childress were held in the First Baptist Church in Carey at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon. Rev. Jess Terry of Dora, M., Baptist minister, Rev. George Clark, pastor of the Carey Baptist Church and Rev. Robert Knight, pastor of the Methodist Church at Tell, officiated.
