The Henckel Genealogy, pages 23 & 24, images 22 & 23/1446:

Simon Dentzer and his brother Othmar Dentzer are two of 4 siblings of the Dentzer family of Steinmerk (now Steinberg) in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany.

"Othmar Dentzer, a magistrate of Steinberg (formerly Steinmerk) Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany; studied at Steinberg, buried there August 25, 1676; married November 6, 1626 at Birkenau, Germany to Louisa Wagner daughter of Reverend Ludwig Wagner of Steinberg and wife (name unknown). She was born about 1605 probably at Ranisch-Holzhausen in Hesse-Kassel, Germany; died November 5, 1676 at Steinberg. Eight (8) children."

Their 8 children were all baptized at Steinberg betwen 27 Jan 1628 and 12 Mar 1652.

STEINBERG:

The locality referred to as 'Steinberg' in The Henckel Genealogy is a portion of the modern town of Pohlheim in the Landkreis of Giessen in the state of Hessen in Germany. Pohlheim is about 6 km south of Giessen. The locality is more fully known as 'Watzenborn-Steinberg'. The grave markers of Othmar Dentzer and his wife are in the church there.

GRAVE MARKER:

Inside the church in Watzenborn-Steinberg is a red sandstone grave marker for Ottmar and Loisa Dentzer. See Wikipedia (de): Alte Kirche (Watzenborn-Steinberg) https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alte_Kirche_(Watzenborn-Steinberg)

The transciption in Ottmar's profile in WikiTree says that he died 25 Aug 1676 at age 81 years 1 week 1 day. The year on the marker is very clear. '1 Woche' looks like '4 Woche', but 'Woche' is singular, not plural.

"Alhier ruhet Seelig in Gott, der weilandt Grosachtbare Herr Ottmar Dentzer gewesener Gerichtschöpf und Kirchen Senior zu Steinberg so in diese Welt geholt im Jahr 1595 und dieselbe wieder ge=segnet im Jar 1676 den 25 Aug seines alters 81 Jar 1 Woche 1 Tag"

rough translation: "Here rests peacefully in God, the highly esteemed Mr. Ottmar Dentzer, former lay assesor and church elder in Steinberg, born into this world in the year 1595 and again blessed in the year 1676 on August 25 at age 81 years 1 week 1 day"
