General Notes: Wife - Elizabeth Ann Hinds

Mary Jane, born about 1829, and Elizabeth Ann, born about 1827, fit nicely into the 1830 and 1840 censuses for young Benjamin Hinds, born 1803. They do not fit well as children of old Benjamin Hinds, born about 1786.

In 1850, however, the recently married Mary Jane and Elizabeth Ann are living next to OLD Benjamin. He is at 155. Mary Jane is at 156 and Elizabeth Ann is at 154. Young Benjamin is not, however, so far away. He is at 134. Remember that the census is linear and that in two dimensiona 134 and 155 might be very close.
