1 October 1771. John Rector and Catherine his wife of Leeds Parish to Jacob Rector of same, 157 acres. (Fauquier County, Virginia Deed Book 4, p. 304)
24 July 1797. Harmon Hitt appoints Benjamin Hitt and Samuel Hitt his attorneys to divide his property among his children, namely, John Hitt, Elizabeth Rector, Peter Hitt or his heirs, Jesse Hitt, Mary Ayres, Sally Hitt, Martin Hitt, Benjamin Hitt, Daniel Hitt, and Samuel Hitt.
