"John and Patsy were the parents of four children who grew into adulthood, and a fifth child that died as an infant. The names of their children are: David R., John B., Martha C., and Francis Marion.
"Patsy McCurdy died in 1837-1838, and she may have died after childbirth of their fifth child. Records in Walton County mention an infant McCurdy, but are not clear on the date of the mothers death.
"John McCurdy Jr. was married a second time circa 1839 to Epsy P.---? (last name unknown). From this marriage one daughter was born in 1841 and named Lovely Ann A. McCurdy."

Find-a-Grave Memorial # 76548250 has specific birth and death dates but provides no evidence for them. The death date there is 16 Feb 1829.
