Drury Sims and Ephraim Banks are 7 entries away.
Drury Sims and Ephraim Banks are probable sons-in-law of Jesse Hitt, a son of Lazarus Hitt (before 1755-1823). The closeness of Charles Stephens to Drury Sims and Ephraim Banks in 1830 indicates an association of Charles Stephens with the children of Lazarus Hitt. Benjamin B. Hitt is another son of Lazarus. Moore Stephens has a clear relationship with Richard Hitt, a son of Benjamin B. Hitt. Moore Stephens and Charles Stephens are in Orange Co., North Carolina in 1820 and in Greene Co., Alabama in 1830., and it is reasonable to conjecture that Moore Stephens is a son of Charles Stephens. It is also reasonable to conjecture that Elizabeth Easter Stephens, the wife of Richard Hitt, is a sister of Moore Stephens. Charlotte Stephens, the wife of Benjamin B.'s nephew Lazarus Hitt, is probably another daughter of Charles Stephens.
