The following will is copied from WikiTree. The executor Samuel Hinds is presumably the brother of Abigail, the future wife of John's son Joseph. The following two entries (copied from Ken Hind's database)from East Tennessee's Forgotten Children, Apprentices from 1778 to 1911 by Alan N. Miller indicate that John Bond died before October 1795 and that Samuel Hinds became the guardian of his son Joseph.

BOND GENEALOGY:

BOND GENEALOGY A History Of the Descendants of Joseph Bond Born 1704, in Wiltshire, England; Died 175-, in North Carolina. compiled by Samuel B. Garrett, 1913, Muncie, Ind.; pg 21, image 27/278:

8. JOHN BOND, son of Joseph and Martha, was born May 30, 1755; married January 28, 1778: Jane Beeson, daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Beeson, of Guilford County, North Carolina. She died January 9, 1792. They were members of Centre Monthly Meeting of Friends or Quakers, but in January 1781, they moved their membership to Deep River Mo. Mtg. In June 1784 he was disowned from membership and little has been learned of his history since that date. There is, however, a tradition among his descendants that after his wife died he married Elizabeth Beeson, by whom he had one child; name and sex not known to them. There were eight children born to them before Jane's death. They (the children) retained membership in the meeting and must have moved their membership back to Centre Meeting, for in 1795 they moved their membership from Centre to New Hope Monthly Meeting, Green County, Tenn. In the minutes of New Hope Monthly Meeting of Tennessee we find recorded in 1795 where the five sons of John Bond moved their rights of membership from Centre Monthly Meeting of North Carolina to New Hope Monthly Meeting, Green County, Tenn. The sons' names: Joseph, Benjamin, Joel, Isaac and William. Their sisters' membership may also have been moved at the same time, but their record being kept in a separate book by the women and the book not being found I am unable to say what became of them. The children all being minors at that time it is reasonable to believe that John had married again and moved his family to the new settlement of Quakers in East Tennessee. A few years later two of these sons were disowned from membership and all moved away from the neighborhood, and no further mention is made of them in the minutes or records. About a hundred years after these occurrences the writer, after several years' search and inquiry, located in Kentucky, Missouri and other states the descendants of four of these sons of John Bond.

The children of John Bond and Jane his wife [pg 23]:

58. I. Martha, b. Aug. 19, 1778. N. f. k.
59. II. Joseph, b. Feb. 29, 1780.
60. III. Benjamin, b. Oct. 19, 1781.
61. IV. Joel, b. Jan. 18, 1784.
62. V. Isaac, b. Dec. 27, 1785.
63. VI. Elizabeth, b. Dec. 18, 1787.
64. VII. William, b. Dec. 5, 1789.
65. VIII. Jane, b. Jan. 7, 1792.

General Notes: Wife - Elizabeth

John Bond's second wife Elizabeth may have been Elizabeth Beeson. See notes under John Bond. Tradition says that they had one child. John Bond's 1795 will mentions Charity. I will assume that her mother was Elizabeth.
