Jean Bte Crely is a godfather on July 21, 1760 and on February 2, 1761. These records may refer to his father.

DEATH:

Jean Baptiste Crely was probably alive May 5, 1761 when his son Jérôme was baptized in Kaskaskia. The baptismal record does not indicate that the father is deceased. He was certainly alive 9 months earlier. He died before August 24, 1762, when a division of property between his widow and his children took place in Kaskaskia.
