Marriage Saturday

A marriage quietly planned, the announcement of which came as a surprise to a wide circle of friends, was that of Miss Katherine D. Crumbaugh and Mr. J. W. Croach, which was solemnized Saturday evening at 5:30 o'clock, at the studio of Miss Virginia Newell, 631 Kentucky avenue. The Rev. E. B. Ramsey, pastor of the Broadway Methodist church, was the officiating minister and the ceremony was witnessed by Miss Newell and Miss Mary Scott, two of the bride's most intimate friends. The bride wore a tailored suit of brown with accessories to harmonize and carried bride roses. The rooms where the marriage took place were lovely with ferns and lilies. The bride is a popular girl, the youngest daughter of Mr. G. C. Crumbaugh, and is a member of one of the most prominent families in the city. Mr. Croach is connected with the Cohankus Manufacturing company. He has resided in Paducah for five years and has made many friends. His home is in Arkansas.
Mr. and Mrs. Croach left Saturday evening for St. Louis and on their return will be at the Crumbaugh home, Madison and Seventh streets.
